About Us

BlabTV made its debut on February 1, 1984. At the time, we aired one show for those in the Pensacola area. Today, BlabTV (WPAN) has dozens of shows, and we reach over 640,000 homes in the Gulf Coast area (with a potential reach of 1 million people)! While we've grown over the years, we've always had the same goal: bringing local stories to you!

General Manager/CEO
Doug Bunze is a producer, writer, editor, and TV executive who has produced over one-thousand hours of television programs for ESPN, USATODAY, NBC SportNetwork, TNN, and FNN.

Eric Ober
Co-Owner
Eric Ober was President of CBS News, the CBS Television Stations Division, and Food Network. He was responsible for creating Emmy award winning programs, and had oversight responsibilities for such programs as 60 Minutes, West 57th, and The CBS Evening News.
